The four screenshots below show an overview the basic components of Inputlog.

Record

Before you start a new logging session you must provide file information and identification data about the session. The information that you enter on this page will be included within all files that you will generate from the session. This will enable you to easily identify each writing session.

Analyse

To analyse the logging data, you can generate the following output:

• a general logging file;
• a text analysis;
• a statistical analysis;
• a pause analysis;

Play

After the recording of the writing session, the session can be replayed to view the writing session.

Convert

This part of the interface allows you to convert

• Inputlog data recorded with previous versions to the current analyses ;
• other datafiles into Inputlog with data from other sources (e.g. Morae)
